Mr. Daniel C. Wilcox III
a local agent originally from Gretna, La. is in his 4th year as an insurance advisor. He is a Graduate of Holy Cross High School and attended Loyola University in New Orleans, La. Major studies were communication arts. From 1982-1995 Dan Wilcox worked as a professional musician and photographer. Both careers took him all over the world and the United States, constantly interacting with the public. In 1984 he was the official Worlds Fair Photographer and owned a studio on the New Orleans famous street Convention Center Blvd. His photo essays were published worldwide with Associated Press and the New Orleans Times Picayune. His professional musical recording with the Traditional Cajun Band "LaTouche" were played worldwide and appearances were made in several countries and many states. Many people know Dan from the many years he spent working in the Ophthalmology Departments of Ochsner, Tulane and Charity Hospitals as a medical photographer and technician. Technology soon changed his career again, as he became Assistant Vice President of Technology Development at a large banking network supporting over 2500 ATM machines nationally. Now serving his communities with insurance sales, he has supported his communities with public speaking, fund raising, health fairs and local goverment. His works in the field of health and life insurance and has been commented on as " extremely knowledgeable, more personable than anyone else".
